League of Legends Tournament Rules
Please read all rules carefully before joining the competition. This page covers both League of Legends 1v1 and 5v5 formats. By participating, every player agrees to follow the official Esports Maroc rules, fair play standards, and admin decisions.
Tournament Overview
Esports Maroc may organize League of Legends tournaments in two formats: 1v1 and 5v5. Some events use only one mode, while others may use separate brackets. Always check the tournament announcement to confirm the active format.
Solo Duel
1v1 matches focus on individual mechanics, lane control and solo performance. Usually played on Howling Abyss unless the tournament announcement states otherwise.
Team Competition
5v5 matches are full team games with rosters, captain communication, lobby rules, draft procedures and complete competitive match flow on Summoner’s Rift.
League of Legends 1v1 Rules
These rules apply when the event is announced as a 1v1 League of Legends tournament.
⚔️ 1v1 Format
- Matches are played as 1 player versus 1 player.
- Default map: Howling Abyss, unless announced otherwise.
- Bracket format is usually single elimination.
- Final may be BO3 if specified by tournament admins.
- Players must be ready at the scheduled start time.
🏁 Win Conditions
- A player wins by getting First Blood, first tower, or first to 100 CS, if those rules are announced.
- If the tournament uses only one specific win condition, admins will state it before start.
- Players must not leave the match early before the result is confirmed.
- Admins have the final decision in unclear endings or disputes.
🧙 Champions & Summoners
- All champions are allowed unless the event announcement bans specific ones.
- No third-party tools or unfair assistance are allowed.
- Runes and summoner spells are chosen by the player unless restricted by admins.
- Any exploit or abusive bug usage is forbidden.
📸 Result Reporting
- The winner must report the result immediately after the game.
- Screenshots may be required if there is a dispute.
- False reporting may lead to disqualification.
- If a disconnect happens, admins decide whether to replay or award the result.
League of Legends 5v5 Rules
These rules apply when the event is announced as a 5v5 League of Legends tournament.
👥 Team Format
- Each team plays with 5 starting players.
- Substitutes are allowed only if the tournament announcement permits them.
- Each team must have a captain or main contact person.
- Teams must respect check-in times and lobby deadlines.
🗺️ Match Setup
- Default map: Summoner’s Rift.
- Mode: Tournament Draft or the mode announced by admins.
- Side selection, lobby ownership and draft order follow admin instructions.
- Players must use their registered accounts if required by the tournament.
📋 Roster Rules
- Only approved roster players may play in official matches.
- Using unregistered players may result in forfeits or disqualification.
- Teams must provide roster information if requested by admins.
- Smurfing, impersonation, or account sharing is forbidden.
⏸️ Pause & Remake Rules
- Pauses are allowed only for valid reasons such as technical issues.
- Abusive or fake pauses are not allowed.
- Remakes follow official game rules or tournament admin decisions.
- Teams must inform admins immediately if a major issue happens.
General Rules for All League of Legends Tournaments
✅ Eligibility & Check-In
- Players and teams must complete registration correctly.
- Check-in is mandatory when required by the event.
- Late check-in may lead to warning, loss, or forfeit.
- Players must be reachable through Discord or the official communication channel.
🛡️ Fair Play
- No cheating, scripting, account sharing, or unauthorized software.
- No toxic behavior, insults, harassment or unsportsmanlike conduct.
- Players must respect admins, opponents and tournament staff.
- Admin decisions are final in all disputes.
🌐 Technical Issues
- Every player is responsible for a stable internet connection.
- If a disconnect happens, contact admins immediately.
- Admins will decide on pause, remake, replay, or result validation based on proof and match state.
- Repeated technical issues may lead to a forfeit if they prevent proper play.
📢 Communication & Reporting
- Players and captains must respond quickly to admins and opponents.
- Results must be reported immediately after the game.
- Screenshots or proof may be requested at any time.
- False claims or fake evidence may result in penalties or disqualification.

Registration
Players or team captains register through the official Esports Maroc page and complete all requested information.
Check-In
Players or captains must confirm availability through Discord or the official tournament communication channel.
Bracket Launch
Matches begin according to the published bracket. Opponents must contact each other quickly and start within the allowed delay.
Result Reporting
Winners or captains must submit results immediately and keep proof available in case admins request it.
