Please read all rules carefully before joining the competition. By participating, players and teams agree to follow the official Esports Maroc tournament rules, fair play standards, and admin decisions.

Tournament Overview

This page contains the official rules for Esports Maroc Valorant tournaments. Tournament settings such as bracket type, match format, and map veto procedure may vary by event and will be confirmed in the official announcement.

All matches are coordinated by Esports Maroc and played in custom lobbies.

Team vs Team
Teams compete with 5 starting players unless substitutes are allowed.

Format & Eligibility

🏆 Tournament Format

  • Tournaments are played in 5v5 format.
  • Bracket type may be single elimination or double elimination depending on the event.
  • Matches may be BO1, BO3, or BO5 depending on the round.
  • Grand finals usually have a longer format if announced by admins.
  • Teams must be ready before lobby creation and map veto.

Eligibility

  • Teams must complete registration correctly.
  • Only registered roster players may play official matches.
  • Each team must have a captain or main contact person.
  • Players must be reachable on Discord or the official tournament channel.
  • False information may lead to disqualification.

Match Rules

🗺️ Map Veto & Lobby Rules

  • Map veto procedure must be followed exactly as instructed by admins.
  • Lobby creation, team side selection, and server settings must follow tournament instructions.
  • Teams must join the correct lobby on time.
  • Starting a match without admin approval when required is not allowed.

👥 Team & Roster Rules

  • Teams must play with approved roster players only.
  • Substitutes are allowed only if the tournament announcement permits them.
  • Using unregistered players may result in forfeits or disqualification.
  • Account sharing or impersonation is strictly forbidden.

📸 Result Reporting

  • The winning team must report the result immediately after the match.
  • Screenshots may be required as proof.
  • If there is a dispute, both teams must provide evidence.
  • False reporting may result in penalties or disqualification.

⏸️ Pauses & Technical Issues

  • Pauses are allowed only for valid reasons such as major technical issues.
  • Abusive pauses are forbidden.
  • If a disconnect happens, admins decide whether the match continues, pauses, or is replayed.
  • Repeated technical issues may result in penalties or forfeits if they prevent play.

Fair Play & Penalties

  • No cheating, wallhacks, aim assistance, scripting, or unauthorized software.
  • No toxic behavior, insults, harassment, or unsportsmanlike conduct.
  • Players must respect admins, opponents, and tournament staff.
  • Any exploit abuse may result in penalties or disqualification.

  • Late check-in may result in warning, map loss, or forfeit.
  • No-show may lead to immediate match loss.
  • Cheating leads to immediate disqualification.
  • Admin decisions are final in all tournament disputes.

Technical & Server Rules

🌐 Connection Rules

  • All players must have a stable internet connection.
  • If a player disconnects, the team captain must inform admins immediately.
  • Teams are responsible for being ready at the scheduled time.
  • Repeated technical problems may lead to penalties if they delay the event.

  • All players must use tournament-legal accounts and settings.
  • Unauthorized third-party tools are forbidden.
  • Admins may define server location or match server rules before the match starts.
  • Players must respect any anti-cheat procedures required by the tournament.
